Evaluation and review of Y12 work

Last year, in Year 12 my group and I created a short 2 minute thriller opening sequence. I enjoyed the process of making it most with my group, this was because we could finally use our ideas that we had come up with during the research process, and see how our ideas would look when we actually tried to film our project.

The part I found most difficult was the editing, this is because I had never edited anything before so all of it was new to me, it took me a while to get a hold of things and understand what tools did what but eventually I got the hang of it and it was quite simple, It wasn't just the editing part, but also making sound effects and finding suitable background music for our short film opening.

The advice I would give to myself if I was to do the whole process again is to add everything I do to my blogger not just parts I feel are important, this is because this will help the moderator to track all my progress, also to keep my blogger more organised so it is easier to follow, as I didn't do this I had to re-organise it and it took up a lot of time and caused unnecessary stress.

My aims for Year 13 is to create a solid music video, my main target is to get good at editing, especially because it is a music video which interests me more I want to be able to edit music videos well. Also another aim is to keep my blogger up to a good standard and add to it more regularly keeping it neat and organised throughout the year.

Like I said, I would like to improve my editing skills most, this is because I feel like editing is a useful thing to be able to do, and also I love music, so if I can improve my editing skills it could be helpful for me in the future.
