Locations and equipment we used

This was our first shooting location, a driveway on private property. This was a good location to film in as we had as much time as we wanted to film the clips that we needed, this also gave us the opportunity to experiment with different ideas for shots to see what we thought was best. We used different cars as props in this scene. The cars included a Range Rover Velar, Mercedes AMG GT and Porsche 911 turbo. We also  used bottles of alcohol as props but none was consumed during filming. We used these props as we wanted to follow stereotypical conventions for a dance genre music video to make it seem as realistic as possible and as we know this is what are target demographic would enjoy.

This was a good location to film in as it had all the conventional elements of a traditional party, which is what we wanted as this is what you would usually see in dance genre music videos. There where multiple props used in this shoot, such as different colours of flashing lights, professional DJ decks and alcohol but again none was consumed, we had to move a few things around in the room to get the desired setup that we thought would look best in the video and tried multiple different angles of shots. This shoot required more planning than others as we had to get 15 other people to feature in this scene to make it as realistic as possible.

imageThis image is from our third shooting location in Belgravia. This location was in public so we had to be careful in the way that we filmed as to be considerate to members of the public and stay out of peoples way. We chose this location to film as it is a quite road which few cars drive down, this would allow us not have many distractions whilst we where filming, we took  precautions when filming ensuring we where driving at a slow speed on the road to make sure that everyone in the car was safe. Another reason this road was an ideal filming location was it is wide which is what we wanted as we where using a 360 camera to film certain shots. The main prop that was used in this video was a Maserati, again sticking to stereotypical dance genre video conventions. The driver of the car was an experienced driver, as we didn't want to take any risks.

Equipment
We filmed our video with two types of camera. We used a high quality Cannon camera, which we placed a gimbal on so we could film all different types of shots from different angels with the camera staying steady and focused on the people, we also used an extendable tripod for other shots. The second camera that we used was a 360 camera, this is a very advanced high quality camera that we used in our second shooting location in Belgravia to try and replicate certain shots from Bru-C's music video. Our music video has been edited on Premier Pro, an advanced editing software that will allow us to make our video look as professional as possible.image
