Shot list

 Shot List

  • Establishing shot of cars in driveway parked in V shape with point of the V being at the entrance way of the house (the door); with the partygoers shown walking into the v and then into the door of the house.
  • We will then have more establishing shots of the drinks at the party, the DJ, the people at the party, the clothes/accessories, the cars, etc..
  • We will then go to a shot of the main character saying the opening lines to the song. As the opening lines are “When I look into your eyes” the main character do a corresponding action by pointing at his eyes.
  • Then for the next part “girl u got me mesmerised” I’ll do a corresponding action referring to my head being in a some sort of craze.
  • Then when he says “eyes roll back I feel so high” the camera will slowly rise to a medium level shot then the camera will roll up to the next shot.
  • Then it cuts to the main character in a car with a 360 camera in the car to catch the angle of just to the right of the driver side wing mirror.
  • Where the main character says “girl I’ve been onto you” where the main character points at the camera shaking his finger up and down.
  • Then the camera will slide across from its position in the drivers side to the same on the passengers side, for the next line to be “ask your ex man what’s he gonna do” with the 360 camera swinging with the passenger in the car shrugging his shoulders, whilst the pair are ‘living their best life’; we also may have girls in the backseats but are not certain at the time of writing.
  • The camera will then fall behind the car seeing it drive down the road as the song says “tell your friends we can rendezvous”, meaning the car is going to the rendezvous, being the party.
  • The next line is “DJ spin it pon the ones and two’s” where via the use of editing we will spin the screen clockwise into the next shot as if a DJ were to spin the decks he’d spin it clockwise.
  • Then we will cut to scenes of the party with strobe laser lighting if people partying and enjoying themselves with there being 4 fast paced cuts for the first 4 beats on each of the beats showing different bits of the party.
  • Then for the next four beats will will show one shot of another shot of the party as the music has more flow for that part.
  • Then have have cuts on each of the bars showing again different 4s shots of the party up until the end of the chorus.
  • For the next verse we will have the location set at the tennis court with main character with a tennis racket and ball in the shot and or his hands for parts of the verse.
  • We will start with the same four fast paced cuts on each of the four opening beats in the bar establishing different aspects of the scene with the main character on the tennis court.
  • We will cut across from shots of him rapping and shots of him conversing with and interacting with either the ladies on the tennis court and or his mates on the tennis court too.
  • For the next chorus we will go back to the party location again this time focusing on the DJ in the party and some girls dancing in front of the DJ booth, jt then for the last half of the chorus we will show shots of the 'cool' boys at the party in their nice expensive clothes and their expensive drinks and them pouring them on the floor to convey the lavish lifestyle in which they live.
  • For the next scene the location will be a road with the main character driving the car at night in a different convertible sports car with the headlights on
  • For the next scene the location will be set at an outdoor pool at an expensive house, the time of day will be night time and we will have the main character's friends at the pool alongside some of his friends. The scene will have the main character standing by the pool walking around drinking and flexing 'magnums'. With girls and our friends standing around the poolside furniture socialising and having a good time. With 5 4 second shots similar shots just at different angles of the artist living the lifestyle and rapping.
